James Horrobin designs and makes metal works of great diversity, encompassing architectural, domestic and sculptural objects. He has produced one off commissions from his workshop and studio at Doverhay for the last 16 years.

The majority of his work is for private clients, but he also makes a number of small pieces for galleries and exhibitions.

His current project, the Churchill Memorial Screen for the Crypt at St Paul's Cathedral was completed in November 2004.
